About Simay
I am a friendly and approachable primary school teacher who is passionate about both teaching and continuous learning. I bring enthusiasm and positivity into the classroom, creating a supportive environment where students feel confident, valued, and inspired to do their best.
I have a strong love for creativity, particularly painting, which I enjoy incorporating into my teaching to engage students and encourage self-expression. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy visiting local markets and spending time painting, as well as relaxing with my love for cats.
My warm personality, enthusiasm for education, and genuine care for students help me build strong relationships and foster a love of learning in every child.

I am a passionate primary educator with a strong interest in English and literacy, committed to fostering a love of reading and writing in all students. My teaching approach is grounded in a balanced literacy framework, integrating explicit instruction, guided practice, and independent learning to support diverse learners.
I use structured literacy strategies, including systematic phonics instruction and guided reading, to build strong foundational skills in decoding, fluency, and comprehension. Through read-alouds and shared reading, I model critical thinking and expose students to rich, engaging texts that develop vocabulary and deepen understanding.
I implement Writer’s Workshop to encourage creativity and student voice, supporting learners through the writing process with targeted mini-lessons and ongoing feedback. I also incorporate literature circles and inquiry-based learning to promote collaboration, discussion, and higher-order thinking.
