About Tess
I was originally drawn to teaching because I love to learn! I like to understand the why behind answers, and be able to share knowledge in an accessible way with others. I spent three years teaching professionally in public secondary schools, where I taught biology, physics, earth science and math. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in the city of Denver with my dog & husband.

I’ve worked with hundreds of students and parents in learning environments teaching math and science topics. I love to connect with others, and help them learn in ways that make sense to them. I am currently pursuing a master’s of public policy, and can also help with developing research proposals, and understanding US political systems.
