About Ryan
I am a passionate flute tutor who loves helping students explore music with creativity and skill. My teaching combines mentorship, accountability, and critical thinking to foster steady growth. My teaching style for flute blends creativity with thoughtful structure. I believe that students learn best when they are inspired and encouraged to think independently. Each lesson focuses on both technique and imagination. I help students explore their own musical voice while developing strong fundamentals. Accountability helps students stay on track and take pride in their achievements.
I guide them to set goals and review their progress regularly. My lessons include tone practice, rhythm training, and expressive playing. I also include music theory and listening exercises to strengthen understanding. Creativity is a big part of my approach—I often use improvisation or composition to make learning fun.
I act as a mentor who supports each student’s growth with patience and positivity. I teach students how to practice effectively and reflect on what they learn.
