About Emily
I am a recent graduate in English language and Linguistics from the University of Southampton. I am now in Nottingham to do my master's in Finance. While I have no experience as of yet with tutoring, I am excited to learn and gain the knowledge needed. At A-level I did English language, history, sociology and EPQ so I am happy to help with any of those topics at A-level standard. Maths and geography I can do up to GCSE level.

Each student will have an introductory lesson where I will be able to see what level they are working at, allowing me to see what needs to be worked on. English GCSE and A-level: -We will work through grammar and spelling, essay writing (creative and literature), picking themes for literature essays and revision methods and practice History GCSE and A-level: - key date memorisation, essay structure, revision methods and practice, background of history - Weimar Germany, Anglo Saxons and Vikings, Cold War in Asia, Witchcraft and the printing press Sociology GCSE and A-level: - Crime and deviance, family and households, the media, and theory and methods - key sociologists and dates memorisation, essay structure, practice essays and revision methods Geography GCSE: - Human and physical geography, essay structure, memorisation, revision methods Maths GCSE: Can teach anything in maths
