I am a masters student at the university of manchester studying mechanical engineering driven by a deep passion and belief that math and science are beautiful tools to help understand the world around us, and the importance of developing a wonder and interest in the world around us. My teaching approach is designed to be both engaging and systematic, aiming not only to cover the subject matter but also to develop effective study techniques and habits that will benefit students long-term. Each lesson starts with an assessment to gauge the student’s current understanding and identify any gaps in their knowledge. I then break down concepts into manageable parts, using clear explanations and real-world examples to make the material relatable. Interactive practice follows, with exercises and hands-on activities tailored to the student’s learning style. Alongside this, I focus on teaching students how to approach problems systematically, manage their time effectively, and use various study methods to enhance their learning. After each lesson, I provide constructive feedback and encourage reflection on their progress, addressing any questions or difficulties. Lessons are customized to meet the student’s specific needs and desired outcomes, whether they are preparing for GCSEs or A Levels. By connecting the material to real-life applications and fostering a growth mindset, I strive to help students build a solid foundation, develop effective study habits, and cultivate a lasting passion for Mathematics and Science.
