About Omar
My name is Omar and I am a junior from Florida. I have been tutoring math, history, and english for around two years. Recently, I completed AP Precalculus, and have succeeded in other math courses in the past. I have also excelled in social studies, getting a 5 on the AP Human Geography exam, and having just taken AP World History. My English scores on standardized tests and on the PSAT have consistently been in the 97+ percentile range. As a tutor, it is important that the students build their knowledge upon topics previously learned. This is where I find many students have trouble. The first session with a student I spend determining their previous knowledge to find out if/where these roadblocks are and begin our sessions from there. I also incorporate problem solving skills that will be an asset in future classes. Thank you for your consideration!
