About Jhon
I'm a graduate math student, with a licentiate degree in teaching mathematics. I'm passionate about mathematics and its intricacies, and usually dwell on problems that I find interesting for days in a row. I've been teaching mathematics for more than 2 years and throughout that time, I've helped more than 100+ students improve their mathematical knowledge and abilities. During college, I was the best student in the class and constantly helped my classmates pass the exams. Currently, I'm taking pure and applied mathematics courses at the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics in Brazil.

First, I’ll talk with you to understand your goals as a math student. Then, I’ll prepare a personalized lesson plan tailored to your needs. My teaching approach is based on actual understanding. Instead of simply presenting formulas, we will derive and explore them together. This helps the student memorize, recognize patterns and apply the concepts more efficiently. The lecture pacing will be adapted to match the student's: if I see that the student already knows what I'm talking about, we'll skip ahead. Conversely, if the student is having trouble grasping an idea, we shall spend more time dwelling on it or on the knowledge necessary for it.
