About Rebecca
I tutored my peers in math through high school and college, and have taught four undergraduate courses at Truman State University. I ran an outdoor education non-profit the past three years where I worked with students from pre-k through 5th grade. I got A's in all of my math courses through high school and college, and was also a teaching assistant for a high school geometry class.

I adapt my teaching style to how students best learn. I am comfortable with various styles. Giving examples and explaining the reasoning behind the methods used, and then walking students through doing problems themselves is the sequence I've found works best. I am very encouraging, kind, and patient.
