About Lavika
I’m a dedicated Math tutor with over 4 years of experience helping students build strong algebra skills. I hold a BSc in Mathematics for Data Science, which supports my structured teaching style. I work mainly with middle school students who need extra support. Many students feel overwhelmed at first. I help them feel confident again.
I focus on linear equations, polynomial expressions, and functions. These are key areas in algebra. I break problems into simple, step-by-step explanations. This helps students follow along easily. Understanding builds gradually over time.
I use puzzles and engaging activities to keep lessons interesting. This makes learning more enjoyable. I also use real-life examples to show how math applies in daily life. This helps students connect with the subject. It makes learning more meaningful.
I’ve worked with students of different learning styles. I adapt my teaching to suit each individual. I also support students dealing with math anxiety. I create a calm and encouraging environment. My goal is to make algebra simple, enjoyable, and rewarding.

I believe maths should be taught in a simple and structured way. My approach focuses on algebra, equations, and functions as core topics. I also include graphing, data interpretation, and basic statistics. These skills help students understand and work with real-world data.
I use step-by-step methods to explain each concept clearly. I also include structured data exercises to improve logical thinking. Students learn how to read and analyse questions carefully. This helps them build strong problem-solving skills.
I help students who struggle with maths feel more comfortable and confident. I also challenge students who enjoy working with numbers. Each lesson is adjusted to suit the student’s learning style.
My goal is to improve both accuracy and reasoning. We focus on developing data skills and understanding trends. Practice is an important part of learning. Maths becomes more clear and rewarding over time.
