About Luca
I would like to offer students the teaching that I would have wanted while I was in school and also in university.
During my studies, I was very keen to understand fully why certain theories were the way they were. Sadly a lot of my teachers and lecturers put a lot of emphasis on applicability and very little on explaining why the concept is how it is. I found that whenever I understood the concept fully, that is when I was also able to apply it, and also remember it; otherwise if I didn't understand it then I was also not able to use it very efficiently.
As a result I will try to make you understand concepts as my number 1 priority and when I am successful with this, I assure you that applicability will be the easiest part.

A rough outline of how I will teach concepts is the following:
1. I will explain the concept at an intuitive level.
2. I will then give some examples and use cases of the concept to make it more familiar.
3. Then I will give a more technical explanation of the concept in order to understand how the concept came to be.
4. Work on a few examples where the concept is used to get a feeling how to use it.
I intend to explain mathematics and physics in such a way that everything is transparent and logical. The goal is to not only teach you the mathematics, but also to provide you with a set of skills and mindset that will allow you to tackle novel concepts on your own in the future.
My lessons are for anyone interested in mathematics/physics but more precisely for students in their final year of high school or for students undergoing a mathematics/theoretical physics degree in university.
