About Felix
I graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2024 studying Economics. In my free time, I thoroughly enjoy both watching and playing tennis for which I represented my University. Alongside tennis, I enjoy indulging in many other sports including football, rugby, cricket and table tennis! Outside of sport, I play lot's of online and in person Chess, and I admire reading and watching plenty of fiction and non-fiction.

Throughout my tutoring journey, I've taught a variety of different students at different stages of their education with a huge range of learning abilities, including neurodivergent conditions such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, ADD and autism.
That being said, I never treat any prospective tutee the same, instead trying to provide tuition that can maximise a particular student's goals and improve their weaknesses as much as possible!
Here are a few principles to expect from all my lessons:
They will ALWAYS aspire to BOOST the self-confidence of a student's Mathematics/Physics ability.
They will seek to both boost a student's understanding of a particular topic and give that student the tools to answer questions effectively and independently.
They will inspire students to work efficiently outside of school/ lessons with the revision techniques that work best for them.
They will last anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours (with a break included).

I can strongly reccomend Felix as a grrat maths tutor. He tutored me over the course of National 5 and Higher maths and was kind, patient and extremely supportive. His explanations were very thorough and helped me achieve my desired grades. Felix's lessons were a huge boost to my confidence and significantly reduced any prior stress I had when it came to maths.
I would highly recommend Felix, my 15 year old was able to enjoy and engage with Felix really well and achieved a grade B in NAT 5 maths (from a D grade) my son who is now sitting Maths Higher has asked for Felix's guidance again. Felix has a great way to interact with teenagers and get the best from them.
