About Piper
My interest in mathematics began with a fascination for numbers, patterns, and logical reasoning. This passion encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics followed by a Master’s Degree in Mathematical Analysis. Over the past 13 years, I have helped students strengthen their mathematical understanding through patient teaching and supportive guidance. I enjoy simplifying difficult concepts into clear explanations that help learners build confidence steadily. Watching students improve their reasoning skills and overcome mathematical fear continues motivating me as a tutor. My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding, consistency, and calm learning instead of memorization alone. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas openly.
Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with students preparing for school coursework, university studies, and competitive examinations. These experiences have helped me understand the importance of flexibility and patience when supporting different learning styles. I use guided examples, visual explanations, and structured practice activities to help students progress steadily without feeling overwhelmed. I also encourage learners to explain their reasoning clearly because communication strengthens mathematical understanding.
