About Jason
I am a recent Master's graduate student who has been teaching entry-level math at a university for the past year. I enjoy math and helping those who struggle with it. I understand that math is difficult and intimidating for most. I want to be there to help those struggling, to make it feel that they can do math. I hope to inspire those learning to enjoy math and the challenge of solving a problem rather than math be a scary requirement they have to push through.

I focus on understanding the material rather than just "right" answers. I want those who come to me to feel like they understood math even if they never felt like they could before. I first work through any problems or questions a student comes with. Once we have gone through those, I will create new examples if they are needed. I would work through with the student and ask if there are questions frequently.
