About Jake
I have 8 years of experience teaching Mathematics, helping learners build confidence, clarity, and analytical skills. I earned a B.Sc in Applied Mathematics, which provided a strong foundation in problem-solving, logic, and mathematical modeling. Over the years, I have helped students at different levels overcome challenges by transforming abstract concepts into approachable, structured, and engaging lessons.
My teaching philosophy centers on clarity, patience, and adaptability. I emphasize understanding over memorization, encouraging students to explore why methods work and how mathematical concepts interconnect. Mathematics is most enjoyable when students understand its underlying logic rather than memorizing formulas blindly. In my lessons, I guide learners through algebra, trigonometry, probability, statistics, and calculus with clear explanations, step-by-step problem-solving, and real-world applications.
