About John
I am an experienced mathematician with a pure maths degree and 21 years teaching experience. Realising that a lot of students struggle to learn in a full class environment I am able to work one to one with students through tutoring to bring out their confidence in Mathematics.
I am experienced in breaking down problems into smaller pieces and finding ways to solve them that matches students individual learning styles.

I have experience teaching all levels of NCEA across a variety of schools in NZ including one of the top and largest schools in the country.
I believe in building students confidence in Mathematics by working one to one to identify and solve weaknesses. I have proven success in using methods which translate to success in examinations.
I have a strong passion for seeing students confidence and passion for mathematics growing and seeing them succeed.
