About Ayla
My interest in mathematics started with curiosity about patterns, numbers, and problem-solving. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Pure Mathematics, providing deep insight into algebra, calculus, geometry, and probability theory. Over 12 years of teaching, I have helped learners progress from basic numeracy to advanced conceptual understanding and independent problem-solving skills.
I emphasise a teaching style that combines clarity, engagement, and adaptability. Each learner’s pace and understanding is considered carefully, and lessons are structured to encourage exploration, questioning, and deep comprehension. I aim to create an environment where students feel supported while developing confidence in their abilities.
Outside the classroom, I continue exploring mathematics through research, puzzles, and applied projects. Teaching is rewarding because I see students develop not only skills but also a love for logical thinking and problem-solving. Supporting learners to unlock their potential in mathematics is a deeply fulfilling endeavour.

Mathematics lessons focus on making abstract concepts understandable, engaging, and applicable to real-world scenarios. I guide learners through algebra, calculus, geometry, probability, and number theory using clear explanations, visual aids, and interactive problem-solving. Lessons encourage logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and the development of a deep conceptual framework rather than rote memorisation. Students are supported to explore different solution strategies, analyse mistakes, and build confidence in handling complex problems.
Beginners focus on understanding foundational principles, building arithmetic fluency, and developing confidence with equations and basic problem-solving. Intermediate learners study functions, algebraic expressions, calculus applications, and geometric constructions. Advanced learners tackle complex problems, Olympiad-style questions, and higher-level reasoning with guidance on methodical thinking and precision. Each lesson includes exercises, step-by-step problem analysis, and conceptual reinforcement.
Studying mathematics strengthens logical thinking, patience, and analytical reasoning. Learners often gain a heightened ability to approach challenges methodically and creatively.
