About Ezra
My journey in mathematics began with a deep fascination for patterns and the way abstract reasoning can explain real-world systems. This passion led me to complete an M.Sc in Mathematical Sciences and Applied Logic, where I explored advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving methods. Over the past 12 years, I have supported students through challenging topics, helping them move from frustration to confidence through clear explanation and encouragement. Teaching mathematics has shown me that every learner can succeed when lessons feel supportive and structured.
My teaching style is calm, concept-based, and highly adaptable. I break down complex ideas into manageable steps, ensuring students understand the reasoning behind each solution. I encourage questions, celebrate progress, and help learners build confidence through practice rather than pressure.
Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with mathematics through continued study, applied research exploration, and interest in quantitative problem solving. Teaching maths is meaningful because I witness students transform uncertainty into pride. My goal is to help learners trust their reasoning and succeed with long-term strength.

Mathematics becomes clearer when students understand that every problem is simply a structured way of thinking rather than a test of talent. In my lessons, I guide learners through algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus basics, and statistics with patient explanation and step-by-step reasoning. I focus on helping students see the logic behind methods, so they can solve problems independently instead of memorising formulas without understanding. Each session includes examples, guided practice, and supportive correction that builds confidence steadily. My goal is to make mathematics feel approachable, logical, and rewarding.
Lessons are always personalised to the student’s level. Beginners strengthen number sense, arithmetic fluency, fractions, and equation basics. Intermediate learners develop stronger algebraic manipulation, graph interpretation, geometry reasoning, and exam-focused practice strategies. Advanced students focus on calculus applications, probability challenges, optimisation, and multi-step analytical solutions. Every lesson includes feedback and strategy-building so students improve consistently.
Maths lessons also build resilience, patience, and independent reasoning skills. Students learn to approach challenges calmly and trust their ability to think clearly. Many learners gain confidence not only in mathematics, but across all academic areas. My mission is to help students become capable, confident, and empowered mathematical thinkers.
