About Mira
I have 12 years of experience teaching Mathematics to students preparing for school exams, university entry, and stronger analytical ability. I earned a B.Sc in Pure Mathematics, which provided a deep academic foundation in logical reasoning, abstract problem solving, and advanced mathematical structures. This background allows me to teach maths with clarity, patience, and a strong understanding of how concepts connect across topics.
My teaching approach is calm, supportive, and highly structured. I believe learners progress best when they feel encouraged rather than pressured, so I explain concepts step by step and adapt my methods to the student’s learning style. I enjoy helping students move from uncertainty into confidence by building strong foundations and showing them how maths can make sense.
Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with mathematics through continued study, puzzle-solving, and exploring how maths applies in technology, finance, and science. Teaching maths is deeply rewarding because students often discover their own intellectual strength. Supporting that growth remains one of the most meaningful parts of my work.

Mathematics becomes far less intimidating when students realise it is not about speed, but about understanding patterns, logic, and clear problem-solving steps. In my lessons, I guide learners through algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics using structured explanation and steady practice. I focus on helping students build strong foundations, because confidence in maths grows when learners truly understand the reasoning behind each method. Each session is designed to feel supportive, encouraging, and clear, allowing students to ask questions freely and develop comfort with challenging topics.
Lessons are always adapted to the learner’s level. Beginners work on basic number skills, fractions, equations, and foundational geometry concepts. Intermediate students strengthen algebraic manipulation, functions, graphs, and multi-step exam problems. Advanced learners explore calculus techniques, probability reasoning, higher-level proofs, and complex application questions. Every lesson includes guided practice, feedback, and explanation so that mistakes become learning opportunities rather than setbacks.
Maths lessons also help students develop resilience, structured thinking, and long-term academic confidence. Over time, learners begin approaching problems with calm focus and logical clarity.
