Hi there! I’m Andrew, and I’ve been teaching math for over 14 years. I love helping students get past the “math anxiety” and actually start enjoying the subject by breaking things down into easy-to-understand steps.
I work with all kinds of learners — whether you’re struggling with basics or aiming to ace your exams. My tutoring style is relaxed and patient, and I make sure every lesson fits what you need.

With 14 years of experience as a math teacher, I focus on making learning clear, engaging, and confidence-building. My approach is patient, personalized, and interactive, because I believe every student learns differently and deserves lessons tailored to their pace and style.
I break down complex math concepts into simple, understandable steps using real-world examples and visual aids. I use a mix of explanation, guided practice, and problem-solving to keep lessons dynamic. I’m big on encouraging questions and adapting explanations until the idea “clicks.”
Each lesson usually starts with a quick review of previous material to reinforce understanding. Then we introduce new concepts with clear examples, followed by interactive practice problems. I always end with a summary and tips for applying what was learned outside of the lesson.
I genuinely enjoy one-on-one teaching and take pride in creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable to explore and ask questions. My experience with different grade levels and learning styles means I can customize lessons to exactly what a student needs, whether that’s foundational skills or exam preparation.
I work with students from middle school through high school, including those preparing for standardized tests or needing extra support with specific math topics. Whether you’re struggling to keep up or aiming to excel, my lessons are designed to help you reach your goals.
