Helen taught for us at Regis University during the fall of 2020. She is a very caring and knowledgeable teacher. She also has real world experience as a statistician. She really knows how to make statistics come to life! Helen is very organized and can figure out how to make anything work. She will help you figure out the best way for you to approach a math or statistics problem. I think Helen is a great person to work with.

She is an amazing teacher and I definitely recommend her as a math teacher. I had her as my Statistics professor and I honestly can’t thank her enough for all her patience and dedication. She takes her time to explain each type of problem thoroughly and also demonstrates how to solve them so that students have examples to work off of. She meets each individual student where they are at and has no problem giving extra/personal time so that students truly understand the content.

While I have never been a student of Helen or a fellow teacher, I have known Helen throughout her teaching career. I have heard many enjoyable stories of classed and students she taught and guided to higher levels of learning. Helen is personable, enthusiastic, positive, knowledgeable of the subject matter of her classes, takes personal pride in preparing for classes, and very interested in any way possible to teach and help student learn subject matter. I am one of the associate deans at the college where Helen recently taught. One of the students with whom I worked last semester struggled in his transition to college, and Helen was responsive and supportive of his needs and worked with him individually to get caught up and ultimately pass the class.
