I am a mathematician / student / swim coach with more than 5 years experience in higher level math classes and 2 years in tutoring in itself. I have never had a disappointed student , and do not plan to in the near future.

I am a 4th year undergrad at the University of CIncinnati receiving a bachelor of science in mathematics. I know most math can be tedious and slightly annoying/confusing. In order to get around this, my teaching method is to try and show people the beauty in math. Once the fancy variables, symbols and functions are stripped away, it's deceptively intuitive. It's the way the world works! I have a firm belief that since it is simply just the description of everyday occurrences, understanding the "why" is much more useful than briefly knowing the "how". I hate the typical plugging and chugging thousands of slightly different examples (though some practice is still always required). Math is logical, it does make sense, and I will help you understand.
