About Hajera
What gets me up in the morning is knowing I can help students overcome their academic challenges and build confidence in subjects they may have once feared. I started tutoring in person in 2018 shortly after my own A-Levels, and moved to a mixture of online and in-person tutoring since the Pandemic. To stay current in my field, I keep up to date with the latest curriculums for OCR, Edexcel, AQA and IGCSE. My patience, understanding and enthusiasm is what truly sets me apart, and I’m excited to bring that enthusiasm to every session.

I have a systematic approach to teaching, breaking down complex topics into manageable steps that make learning feel achievable, no matter how daunting a subject may initially seem. As a tutor, I specialise in working with students who may feel overwhelmed or anxious, providing both academic guidance and emotional support to help them unlock their potential. Having experience tutoring both in-person and online, I understand the nuances of different learning environments and tailor my teaching methods to each student’s individual needs. I match my approach to learning new topics to a student’s confidence in answering a question. Whether that is using past papers, giving a step-by-step explanation of the process or providing a student with a detailed example to support them. My priority is to motivate my students and make maths and physics enjoyable.
