About Mehrdad
I am Mehrdad, a Distinction MSc Aerospace Engineering graduate with a strong academic background in Mathematics and Physics and several years of teaching experience. My education and experience allow me to explain complex topics clearly and help students build a deep understanding of the subjects.
I take a professional, patient, and structured approach to tutoring. I focus on creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their confidence. Each lesson is carefully prepared and tailored to the student’s level, goals, and learning style.
I have worked with secondary school and college students, supporting them with GCSE, A-Level, and introductory university-level topics. My aim is not only to help students achieve better grades but also to develop their analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong fundamentals and then guiding students through problems step by step. I use clear explanations, worked examples, and interactive problem-solving, encouraging students to ask questions and actively engage with the material. I adapt each lesson to the student’s pace and learning style to make learning effective and enjoyable.
A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes and usually includes reviewing previous topics, explaining new concepts, and practising exam-style questions to build confidence and problem-solving skills.
My lessons are suitable for GCSE, A-Level, and early university students, generally aged 12 and above, who want to improve their understanding, prepare for exams, or strengthen their foundation in Maths and Physics.
