About Viya
I earned a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, equipping me with both theoretical depth and practical problem-solving expertise. Over 11 years of teaching, I have guided learners across various skill levels, helping them build confidence, analytical reasoning, and independent problem-solving habits. I believe that conceptual clarity and progressive guidance are key to achieving lasting understanding and intellectual growth.
My teaching approach focuses on adaptability, engagement, and structured explanation. I personalize lessons using visual aids, examples, and interactive exercises to accommodate each student’s learning style. I encourage learners to reflect on their reasoning, explore multiple solution strategies, and develop the confidence to tackle challenges independently, fostering both competence and resilience.

These experiences enrich my teaching and provide practical insights for learners. Mathematics is most meaningful when learners grasp the reasoning behind each concept and see its application in solving real-world problems. In my lessons, I focus on algebra, geometry, calculus, probability, statistics, and functions, blending conceptual understanding with hands-on problem-solving. I encourage students to explore patterns, visualize abstract ideas, and develop stepwise reasoning that builds confidence and fluency. Every session is designed to stimulate curiosity, strengthen analytical thinking, and create a supportive environment where learners feel empowered to ask questions and experiment with solutions.
Lesson content is tailored to each learner’s skill level. Beginners concentrate on arithmetic, fundamental algebra, and geometric intuition.
