About Francess
I am a private tutor ( with a 2:1 degree in BSc Biomedical Science) with over 7 years of experience working in school and non-school settings. I teach learners ranging from key stage 2 - A-level; I also teach adult learners who are planning to return education and may need to refresh their memories or firm their understanding in different subject areas. I have prepared several students for exams and they have gone on to progress successfully in their next phase of study often occupying top sets in their schools.
My teaching method is bespoke; it caters entirely to the student's mode of learning. I understand that different student will learn at their own specific style and pace, hence my key qualities are patience, perseverance and persistence. These qualities enable me to carry out my job effectively and efficiently; ensuring that my students fully understand a taught concept and are able to apply it in different problems. I set work to be done in each lesson to access the students understanding and also set home work to enable the child attain their maximum potential.
I work closely with teachers and strictly follow the school curriculum; I often liaise with my students teachers (once given the chance) to identify their major challenges and monitor their progress to which I report to parents every fortnight.
