About Charles
I’m currently doing A Level Maths at College and aiming for an A* in mathematics. I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE maths. From being put in Set 4 for maths in Year 7 to eventually reach Set 1 in Year 11. It wasn’t an easy path, but I kept consistent and knew where I wanted to be.
After tutoring many students, I find it rewarding and fulfilling to teach and I believe that I can make a genuine impact on a students ability in the subject.

My tutoring sessions will cover practice questions and in depth and easy to understand explanations of the topic. I will also go over their previous assessments, and spot where improvements need to be made, and go through in depth through why you’re doing something. I believe a key aspect in learning is to understand what you’re actually doing.
As teachers in school seem to never explain why you do something in maths. Understanding the why in maths will not force you to rely on just memory alone in the exam.
