About Eva
My interest in mathematics started with curiosity about patterns, numbers, and logical problem-solving. This led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and begin teaching students of different ages and skill levels. Over the past 6 years, I have focused on making math understandable, approachable, and relevant to learners’ everyday lives.
I employ a patient and structured teaching approach. Many students struggle initially, so I break topics into manageable steps, use visual explanations, and provide practical examples to clarify concepts. Encouraging questions and active engagement helps learners build confidence and independence in solving problems.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring mathematical puzzles, real-world applications, and new developments in education. Bringing fresh examples into lessons keeps learning engaging and relatable. Helping students grow from hesitation to confident problem-solvers is deeply rewarding, and I aim to foster curiosity, clarity, and persistence in every learner.

Math can be intimidating when concepts are introduced without clear connections. My lessons focus on helping students understand algebra, geometry, calculus, and problem-solving in a stepwise, practical way. I emphasize understanding patterns, reasoning logically, and linking ideas to real-life situations. By demonstrating how math applies to everyday problems, students gain appreciation for the subject and feel encouraged to engage actively with each topic.
Each session is tailored to the learner’s level. Beginners focus on foundational operations, number sense, and simple equations. Intermediate learners explore functions, graphs, probability, and geometry, building analytical skills. Advanced students engage with calculus, trigonometry, and complex problem-solving techniques. Exercises, visual aids, and step-by-step guidance help reinforce understanding and strengthen confidence in applying concepts accurately.
As students advance, they develop critical thinking, structured reasoning, and the ability to approach challenges systematically. Many begin to enjoy solving problems and applying mathematical principles in practical ways. My goal is to make math approachable, engaging, and empowering, helping students grow both academically and intellectually while cultivating a long-term interest in logical reasoning and quantitative thinking.
