About Dominic
General Maths and GCSE Exam Preparation Sessions: January - May 2025 Between January and May 2025, I’ll be running sessions for revision and exam preparation every Saturday and Sunday from 1pm - 4pm. On Wednesdays, I will hold a session from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. Why Choose Me as Your Maths Tutor? I’m a passionate 1st-year secondary maths teacher, currently completing my PGCE at a central London school. With a master's in structural engineering and two years of engineering experience, I know how maths is applied in the real world. My goal as a teacher is to help students overcome maths anxiety, build confidence, and show that with the right skills, any maths question can be tackled! I also understand the challenges students face—being dyslexic myself, I bring empathy and understanding to my approach. A Fun, Engaging, and Structured Approach to Maths I offer tailored lessons to suit each student’s individual needs, whether they’re revising for exams or simply trying to improve their skills. With a focus on both visual learning and step-by-step problem-solving, my lessons break complex concepts into manageable, bite-sized parts.

Dominic has done a fantastic job of tutoring my daughter in her preparations for her maths GCSE! He has been brilliant at explaining things in a visual way which she can understand and he's been really patient in finding the best solution for her as a student/learner! His lessons are well structured and have caused an obvious progression in her ability but most importantly her confidence!
