About Mitchell
I have been working as a freelance tutor for upper high school and university level mathematics and physics in ACT since 2012. As well as tutoring, I have taught first year undergraduate physics across the syllabus at ANU since 2016. I have also taught as a substitute at ANU College, working with final year high school students.
I completed my VCE in 2011 with an ATAR of 95.35, and graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physics at ANU. I’m now concluding my MPhil in quantum electrometry, and will be beginning my PhD at RMIT in the coming months.

My approach to tutoring is tailoring an individual approach for each student, working with them to build confidence. I do this by grounding our work in what they already know – often more than they themselves realise - before building on the lessons they receive in school. I work with each student to establish their preferred learning style, factoring in any additional needs.
