About Amol
Hello! My name is Amol and I am the co-founder of Building Blocks Education Centre.
I am a former student of Merchant Taylors' School so I know how rigorous 11+ entrance exams are!
I graduated from London School of Economics (LSE) with a B.Sc Mathematics and Economics 2:1 degree.
I have always had a passion for teaching and have previously taught English and Mathematics at the Lindamood-Bell School.
Within the financial sector, I served as a corporate trainer for JP Morgan Investment Bank. I have extensive experience teaching professionals and students.

Group sessions (max of 4 students) are 2 hours in length and take place at my home address for £30 per session.
1-1 classes - Online or at my home address are £30/hour.
Every child is different. We assess them and determine how best a student learns and work to their strengths. I am patient, positive and I work hard to build confidence.
My sessions are always well structured. The classes incorporate covering the syllabus through worked examples from books and past-papers. I provide reading and homework ahead of each class as "practice makes perfect".
Your child's success and confidence with Mathematics is my priority. To support their learning objectives, I provide a personal approach, adapting learning methods to their needs.
DBS check completed for all teachers.

We did not grow up in the UK and were wholly unfamiliar with the 11+. Amol was incredibly helpful in demystifying the process and worked hand in hand with our family in delivering results from 3 schools, Haberdashers, Merchant Taylors and John Lyon.
