About Rylee
My passion for mathematics stems from a fascination with patterns, problem-solving, and logical reasoning. This led me to pursue an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, where I studied algebra, geometry, modeling, and data analysis. Over 11 years, I have helped students progress from elementary school math through middle school math, algebra, geometry, and SAT math, developing analytical skills, confidence, and independent thinking. I teach with patience, clarity, and adaptability, using visual aids, real-world examples, and structured explanations to make complex concepts accessible. I encourage curiosity, exploration, and logical reasoning, fostering both academic and personal growth. Outside teaching, I explore advanced mathematical methods, educational innovations, and problem-solving strategies, integrating them into lessons to enrich learning. Seeing students build competence, confidence, and a love for mathematics is deeply rewarding.

Intermediate lessons focus on linear equations, functions, coordinate geometry, multi-step word problems, and logical reasoning. I also integrate SAT math preparation, teaching time management, problem interpretation, and efficient solution strategies. Exercises emphasize analytical thinking, structured reasoning, and application to real-world scenarios.
Advanced lessons cover higher-order algebra, geometric proofs, mathematical modeling, and data interpretation. Students practice exploring multiple solution strategies, justifying reasoning, and applying concepts in unfamiliar contexts. My teaching combines structured guidance, patience, and encouragement, helping learners achieve mastery, confidence, and a lasting appreciation for mathematics.
