• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  I teach Mathematics. Everything around us involving Mathematics. In a day-to-day life maths plays a vital role. For instance, from grocery shop to rocket science we are using mathematics. Furthermore, ancient humans (stone age) used to count their belongings with the help of mathematics. I hope you might understand that before they start communicating each other, they used maths. Therefore, without any language mathematics exist(Reference: inscriptions).
  
  When I was studying higher secondary second year, I did struggle a lot with mathematics because I was poor in maths and I feel that maths is very difficult subject. At that time, I thought I must be able to understand and solve all the problems whatever given to me. My teacher always motivates me. I scored 85% in maths subject.Then I chose UG course and PG course in mathematics. Everyday I studied maths by my own efforts. This is how I develop my subject skill by myself.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  My Physics teacher keep on encouraging me always. He suggested that to study Mathematics as a major subject. Today I'm working as a maths teacher, I'm using all the teaching techniques whatever he used. I thought I have to teach the students maths in a easiest way.

• How does your work help society?

  Good teachers make future leaders. They not only teaching their subjects. They teach morals and good virtues of life on their students. Teaching is a unique professional because they produce good people to society.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  My role model is my teachers undoubtedly. They have been(will have been) making good men and women to society until their retirement.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Reading story books, hearing songs, traveling, and learning languages.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  When I was teaching to a higher secondary student, he said that "sir, you teach this subject very easy way I never had teacher like you". I was really gald. Because, I struggled a lot when I was a student. Money doesn't matter, a single word from our students makes the teachers happy. Now he is studying engineering successfully. I'm really contenting with his progress as a teacher. So, learn and teach!
