About Bethany
I primarily used MATLAB in both of my degrees, especially in my projects, so now have 5+ years of experience. For 3 years I taught MATLAB with in-person tutoring, starting first with my friends and then teaching others in my cohort. A girl I tutored in MATLAB at Imperial changed her PhD to be MATLAB based because of how much easier she found it with my methods. Now I am moving my skills online to help others learn

I am dyslexic so am good at explaining things in many different ways, and can adjust my teaching style easily to suit you. I can teach any level of MATLAB but my preference is teaching 'how' to use MATLAB - ie. teaching problem solving and knowledge finding as this helps you long term, rather than just teaching specific functions that will only help today. "Teach a man to fish" ideology. For beginners we would work on the basics first to form a solid foundation before we move on to this.
I currently work as a mechanical engineer at a medical device start-up, with a Biomedical Engineering MSc Merit from Imperial, and Medical Engineering BEng First Class Honours from Swansea University.
