I find that the normal way of teaching is not always beneficial for all students that is why I pride myself is getting to understand my students so that I can adjust my teaching style to what will be most effective for each individual student. I have a system whereby each term I set goals with my students in which we work extremely hard to achieve, and when achieved I give them a surprise reward at the end of the term provided the goal is achieved. This is a source of motivation for my students.
