About Alyssa
I am Alyssa. I have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering with UX Design professional certificate from Penn State University and have been tutoring since my college years. I also worked closely with professors, gaining valuable experience in tutoring. Currently working as a UX designer, I utilize my free time to tutor students. I have taught various students that show interest in UX design, both in face-to-face and online settings. My main focus is with college students interested in pursuing UX design. I am skilled at adapting my teaching style to meet the needs of students at different skill levels and ages. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts.

In planning my lessons, I first assess the student's current knowledge and learning style. I then tailor the lessons to their specific needs. My tutoring techniques focus on breaking down complex concepts into simpler, more understandable parts. I emphasise problem-solving skills and critical thinking, empowering students to become independent learners. We will be making portfolio as to prepared for job interviews. Usually it will take around 1-2 hours of lesson per slot.
Through my adaptable teaching style, patience, and passion for education, I strive to make each lesson a unique and enriching experience for my students.
