About Aria
MEng Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Bath. Currently on an industrial placement year. Top A-Level grades in Maths, Further Maths and Physics. I have experience in working with children up to GCSE age due to being a teaching assistant during my gap year (including SEN students) I hold a DBS, and am trained in child safeguarding.

Offering Maths and Further Maths lessons via webcam / online. Primary school to GCSE level student. How are the lessons carried out? - Lessons are carried out on Microsoft Teams. My iPad screen is shared via the app so the student can easily follow the content. What could a lesson include? - I would be happy to go over any specific problem topics, go through the whole curriculum/specification or to go over exam style questions. Teaching methodology: • I find practice by far the most effective way to improve, as I have learnt from my own student experience. • My lessons will include a summary of the topic that needs improvement. To do this I will go through some example questions while pointing out the main learning points along the way. • I will then use a large proportion of the lesson with the student doing questions. I will offer hints and any extra explanations if needed to help them to reach a solution themselves. • My aim is to help the student understand what each question requires them to do. I encourage all my students to question everything, so they develop a good understanding of each topic. Experiences working with children: • I have experience as a Teaching Assistant up to GCSE Level • Including working with SEN Students • I hold a DBS, and am trained in child safeguarding
