About Samuel
I am a Junior Mechanical Engineering student at Union College. I have a background in tutoring and teaching. I spend my summers as a camp counselor where I am able to be a leader for kids of all ages and encourage them to be their best selves.

I am able to further explain the subjects that students learn in class, and then I will answer any questions that they have. I will also provide practice problems that we can work through together. I will tutor in all STEM subjects for middle school and high school students as well as introductory college courses.

When I took calc 1 last term, the way my professor taught it was really confusing to me and Sam was able to help me through it. He was very patient when it took me a while to understand things and he never just gave me the answer, he really wanted to make sure I knew how to do it. With Sam’s help I was able to get an A in calc 1.
Sam taught me how to be able to find the answer myself, rather than always giving me the answer. Also, he helped me with my organization and time management skills.
