About Shubhneet
I am Shubhneet, a 2nd Year Student at the University of New South Wales pursuing a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours)/Energy Engineering. I am an outgoing, friendly and passionate tutor who loves to teach!
From the name of my degree, It would seem as if I have been a mathematician for my entire life! However, that is simply not the case.
I struggled in Mathematics uptil Year 10. I was continuously underperforming and was extremely demotivated going into year 11. However, at the start of year 11 I found a new tutor who simply changed my view on maths. His passion for teaching and his clear and simple language allowed me to comprehend concepts which were bizarre to me, and by the end of the year, I was helping my peers!
This was all due to the help of one person...my tutor!
After completing my high schooling education, I eagerly wanted to become a tutor at University. I got my first student who was in Year 9 and after that, I have never looked back. Over the past year alone, I have acquired 300+ hours of teaching with the one goal of restoring other students' confidence in maths, just as my tutor had done to me, 3 years ago.

Classes will be conducted via Zoom. I will be screensharing and writing down notes on OneNote. The OneNote will be available to you as I will share the link to it during the first lesson.
This also means that not only will you have access to the notes but you can work on a problem with me at the same time! Hence, collaboration in lessons between me and you is utmost priority.
Being an experienced and qualified tutor with over 300 hours of tutoring experience, I can recognize the strengths and weaknesses of my students and work towards making their weaknesses their greatest strength!
The lessons are for students in Years 7 - 11 seeking help with Mathematics in both Victoria and NSW.
Lessons will typically be 1 hour, however this is flexible.
