About Mateo
I am a university student studying Digital Media with Latin Spanish and culture. I have a very big interest in the latin American culture, as I am half Colombian. I have been fortunte enough to go travelling across most of South America, and along the way learnt things about myself I could of never imagined. I learnt that speaking another langauge is a freeing experince, and once you learn one, you will want to learn more and more. I want to be able to provide other people with this experience, and hope that it will make them as happy as it did me.

My teaching approach is to let the student guide themselves, if they ever feel overwhelmed, they have the control of pace, and quantity that we will study. However, of course we will not continue on one specific subject, just because the student is most conformtable with it.
A lesson will typically be 30 mins, with request for extended time available. During this time, we will generally do 15 mins speaking, 10 mins listening, and the last 5 mins will be the students choice.
The reason that I set it out like this is because, I beleive that the best way to learn a langauge is be able to speak and understand it. Once you are there, the reading and writing will come a lot easier.
I have GCSE and A-Level Spanish qualifications, which have also assisted me in teaching my sister spanish. This was where I really learnt how to teach someone another language.
These lessons are for begginer level spanish students, who may need help with there homework, or just someone who is looking to learn another Language for the first time.
