About Mark

Welcome! My name is Mark, but you can call me your new tutor! I know it can be very intimidating to seek out personal education, so whether or not you reach out to me specifically, I'm proud of you for taking that first step towards bettering yourself. With that said, I think it would be well worth it to end your search here, as I am boldly claiming that no matter who you are or how well you speak the language, you will benefit in some way from studying with me. My confidence comes from my current ranking at a B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, which makes me more than qualified to assist any students, from beginner levels up to my fellow fluent speakers. Having graduated high school (with top marks, might I add) within the last five years, I'm still quite familiar with many of the literary works that are taught as part of Ontario's English curriculum, and I'm always willing to work through new books with students. This means that any middle school and high school students seeking help with those pesky book reports and analytical essays will find everything they need right here! I may not be as young as I used to be, but I'm just "in-touch" enough that I can still connect with young students. Those who are pursuing English as a second language will find a patient tutor who has prior experience working with newer speakers. I can communicate verbally or through messaging sites, depending on what my students feel most comfortable with.

I'm offering a flexible lesson plan that is subject to changes based on the needs and availability of the student. If you're interested in working with me, shoot me a message! From there, we can discuss the specifics of what you're interested in working on, and I can put together a lesson plan.
I am quite familiar with many of the literary works that are taught in Ontario's English curriculum, and I am always willing to work through new ones in response to the needs of students. Depending on the learning styles of students, I can engage via written communication or online meetings (scheduled according to our respective availabilities). Students of all levels of proficiency are encouraged to reach out; I am more than qualified to assist students up to a post-secondary level.
