I'm a UCT medical student. I'm part of the Dean's merit list and I am passionate about sharing information to my fellow students. I've been tutoring for 2 years now to my classmates and at various high schools.

I am Moses
My passionate for tutoring started in high school. Having gone to a school with lack of resources and teachers I spent a lot of time coming up with ways of understanding concepts and most importantly, helping my classmates. At the end year, I passed my matric with 100% in Mathematics & 99% in Physical Sciences.
So my lesson simply to clarify understanding of concepts first. I spend time trying to understand how you think about the concept and your reasoning behind the answers you give. The most important thing to me is not in knowing the answer but how you reason and your thought process. As a medical and science student i find logical reasoning more important than just knowing facts. So as a result i take my time to gear my tutees into thinking about concepts in a logical way.
Once that is established we then work on answering exam questions. I found that to be more helpful to many students i tutored not just in the present but also going further in their studies.
