About Christie
I achieved highly in all three sections of the GAMSAT and was accepted into medical school, completing 3 years of the program so far. I also have a Graduate Certificate in TESOL and I'm currently studying a Master of TESOL while I transfer my medical studies to another university. My other qualifications include a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours Class I) and a Diploma in Languages (German). I have always achieved high marks in all my studies, especially in the areas of writing.

I specialize in helping people with English as a second or additional language to improve their language skills so they can succeed in Section 2 of the GAMSAT exam. The GAMSAT is a necessary hurdle to get into medical school and I believe that most students are just missing the correct strategies for success. That's where I can help. My background in medicine and English teaching makes me uniquely qualified to help students achieve highly on the GAMSAT, by combining English lessons with GAMSAT exam preparation strategies. I pride myself on being a friendly and patient teacher who goes above and beyond for her students. I believe all students are unique and therefore, I tailor my lessons according to each student's individual goals.

Christie is an all round professional educator, who is passionate about teaching her students to see them succeed. I have found Christie to be patient and encouraging in her way of teaching and has a special rapport with her younger students. I charge $90/hr for 1:1 GAMSAT tutoring. - There's a 10% discount if you pay for 5hrs in advance - There's a 20% discount if you pay for 10hrs in advance.
For written feedback only on essays, I charge $50 per essay. Discounts are the same as above. All prices are in Australian Dollars.
