About Erin
Hi there! I’m Erin, a medical student who is passionate about learning and helping others find their confidence in it! I've had experience with working with elementary to college students across a wide range of subjects, and my goal is to make learning feel more like a team effort! I fully believe that studying does not have to be a 24/7 effort and that with the right tools, strategies, and mindset, studying starts to feel empowering instead of stressful. There have been many studies that show that ACTIVE retrieval is better for learning than passive re-studying! In our sessions, we'll be primarily doing practice problems and activities that implement active recall to help long-term learning. I can also share tools and resources to refine your studying strategies that have made my studying more efficient as a medical student. I am open to taking middle school, high school, and college students (depending on what class).
