About Nermine
I am a Medical Student at Manchester University and have achieved A for Chemistry and A level as well as an 8 at GCSE.
I have successfully tutored many students into getting A/A*s in A level and 8/9s at GCSE for the past two years. Although I am more focused on AQA exam technique but I am able to teach Edexcel too :)
I love teaching as when I get to help my students grow and see them reach their goals, it’s one of the most joyful moments the job!

I like to teach a thorough understanding of content with the exam technique always in mind. This helps my students to not only learn the content very well but also be able to apply that knowledge in their exams and past papers.
It’s very important for students to be able to link what they learn with that they’ll get in their exams. This is what high achieving students should be doing and it is what I teach my students to employ in their studies.
I also am a big believer in active recall and spaces repetition as it lets students constantly revise not just their current topics but solidify previous topics we’ve been through.
I also try to stick to only/ very close to mark scheme terminology throughout my lessons so that students can answer exam questions with the correct terminology and techniques to gain the highest marks.
