About Rafaela
I am a Medical student at Imperial College London. My experience with teaching involves 4 years of working with high school students and children aged from 5 to 7 years old. I have taught German (intermediate level) at the beginning and continued to teach inorganic and organic chemistry for the National Olympiad, further maths (mainly for developing critical and analytical thinking needed in future medical related careers) and biology for the CIE A level exam. Apart from the academic background, I have enjoyed seeing how children's cognitive processes work when teaching younger students during summer academic programmes and find neuropsychology provides keys to understanding their behaviour. The experience has contributed to the development of qualities that will help me become a creative and imaginative tutor.
In my fields of study, every concept, regardless of its complexity, starts from simple questions. My main goal is to answer with my students to these questions by understanding their scientific reliability in the real world. In other words, my methodology is based on discovering and finding the reasonings beyond every notion, as well as applying and interpreting what we learn in various contexts, every lesson being adapted to the students' needs. I believe that both closeness between generations and passion for science are playing a defining role in successfully transmitting scientific knowledge.

Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the teacher
Even the hardest things are easy when your mind find shifting and plenary involvement into maths. One of a kind approach, the way Rafaela Enea is able to involve and attract you into the problems make the solutions pop up with great satisfaction for me as her student. Highly recommended!
I have known Rafaela for quite a long time and we have both worked as tutors at a high school in Chelsea. She is a very good teacher with strong skills to establish connections with students and she is very caring. I must say that her ability to teach has impressed me as well.
Therefore, I definetly believe that she is a very capable and trustworthy tutor.View more recommendations
