I am currently a medical student with a previous degree in psychology. I have experience in tutoring English and helping with essay writing at my previous university. I tutored essay writing during my last year of university and received As in my English classes, and completed my degree with a 2:1.

Generally my teaching method is to make sure the student fully understands the writing prompt before starting their essay. I believe that students work best when they have a grasp on the main concepts and core ideas of the subject rather than focusing on the small details. Generally, I let the students tell me where they believe their weak spots are and what they are struggling with the most and then go on from there.
