About Avi
My name is Avi and I'm a third year medical student at the University of Oxford. I am offering tutoring on the UCAT exam, as well as interview practice. I help students maximise their results at every step of the medicine application process through imparting methods I used and lessons I learned through my own application to medicine.

Having successfully gone through an Oxford interview, I can provide insight on how to approach the challenging questions which are posed, as well as insights into what the interviewers are looking for. I can also help students prepare for non-Oxbridge style interviews through practicing role-play scenarios, discussion about the NHS (highly important to understand for interviews) and generally gathering one's thoughts and experiences into coherent answers which demonstrate suitability for a medicine course. I received offers to study medicine from: University of Oxford, King's College London and Newcastle University.
My score on the UCAT was 3240, with section scores of
Quantitative Reasoning - 880
Abstract Reasoning - 750
Decision Making - 820
Verbal Reasoning - 790
I was able to achieve this score through developing methods for each of the recurrent question subtypes I faced. As well as sharing these methods with the student, I will also improve their scores by methodically targeting their strengths and weaknesses. The situational judgement test is an especially opaque and difficult section, in which many students are unsure what the examiner wants to see. As a medical student, I am able to offer insights into the standards of professionalism and conduct which are expected from a doctor - also very relevant at interview.
