Hello! I’m Zarhaa, and my approach to tutoring is built on the belief that the best learning happens when the power dynamic is leveled. As a current Medical Student, I’ve navigated the high-pressure world of academic from the inside out.
I don’t believe in lecturing at you; I believe that we can both reach the same answer if you have the right push.
I’ll ask the right questions to lead you to the answer, ensuring you actually "own" the logic & I prefer being a mentor and a friend rather than a rigid authority figure. When you’re relaxed, your brain is more receptive to complex info and I have corrected papers as a Medical Teaching Assistant for professors, I teach you to write with the "clinical clarity" and academic rigor that top-tier educators look for.
A Typical Lesson Plan
1. A quick, 5-minute chat to gauge your current stress levels and mental blocks regarding the topic.
2. We tackle the "why" before the "how." Whether it's a medical concept or an essay structure, we break it down into its smallest parts.
3.We work through a problem or a paragraph together in real-time.
4. You explain the concept back to me. If you can teach it, you know it.
I’ve worn many hats: I’ve taught English to children with zero prior exposure, and I’ve authored high-level research papers. This range allows me to simplify the most complex medical jargon into plain English. My experience as a Medical TA gives me an "insider’s view" on how professors grade, allowing me to help you polish your work to a professional standard.
Who These Lessons Are For
My versatile background allows me to help a wide range of students:
Pre-Med & Medical Students: Mastering anatomy, biology, or clinical reasoning.
University Students: Crafting high-distinction essays and navigating research paper structures.
ESL Learners: Building confidence from the ground up, regardless of starting level.
High School Students: Preparing for the transition to rigorous university-level writing and science.

It is rare to find an educator who leaves such a profound mark on a student’s life. My daughter is now thriving in her 4th semester of medical school, and we know that Zarhaa is a huge reason she has made it this far.
Zarhaa’s dedication is truly unmatched—she is a constant source of sweetness and understanding, making herself available whenever her students need a guiding hand. She doesn't just teach; she inspires. To see my daughter find genuine joy in writing amidst the rigors of medical study is a testament to Zarhaa’s incredible ability to go above and beyond.
Thank you, Zarhaa, for being the mentor every student dreams of havingView more recommendations
