As the majority of the academic curriculum is linear, I cater my teaching style towards active recall and ensuring that students have consolidated knowledge that they may have learnt early on in the course. With this method they are not cramming and forgetting I formation soon after the exam, but applying knowledge to unfamiliar concepts.
