About Dennis
Hello! I am currently a 4th year medical student in Southern California with a passion for education. I have 6 years of tutoring experience at the college and medical school level. I have taught classroom style tutoring sessions in undergraduate level biology during which I attended my students' lectures and created custom lesson plans based on the content covered. Currently, I am a peer tutor at my medical school where I offer 1 on 1 tutoring for a wide range of medical school topics. Additionally, I have experience in MCAT test prep, having taught classes to small groups of students.
I am passionate about education and nothing beats the feeling of helping my students achieve success. My goal is to inspire confidence in yourself and your abilities, and to promote deep understanding. I look forward to working with you!

I have over 6 years of experience in tutoring at the undergraduate and medical school levels. My teaching style is interactive and efficient. I strive to promote understanding of topics, rather than brute memorization without context. I achieve this through analogies, teach back, practice questions, and repetition. I also like to incorporate figures and diagrams whenever possible to facilitate multiple learning modalities. My goal is to instill confidence into my tutees and their abilities to be successful.
